ROXBURY — State police are investigating the recent nighttime burglary at an auto repair shop on Southbury Road.

The owner of M&D Roxbury Garage contacted police Monday morning and said a safe containing money and business documents had been stolen during the overnight hours of Sunday into Monday.

M&D Roxbury Garage not only operates as an auto repair shop, but sells locally-grown organic produce, as well as flowers, prepared canned foods and dry goods, according to its website.

Police are asking anyone with information on the burglary to call Trooper Dennis Keane at 203-267-2240.
