The fifth annual Great Lakes Border Battle is Friday and Saturday at Gondik Law Speedway in Superior.
The event features a pair of $2,500-to-win Modified main events, while Super Stocks and Midwest Modifieds will both be racing for a $1,000 top prize each night. Pure Stocks and Hornets, meanwhile, will each compete for $250 paydays.
As an added bonus, courtesy of title sponsor Superior Fuel, any driver who earns a clean sweep, winning both nights, will earn an additional winner’s paycheck, meaning a Modified driver could take home as much as $7,500 on the weekend.
Practice will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday with racing Friday and Saturday starting at 7 p.m.
Adult grandstand ticket prices are $20 each day, children 10 to 15 are $5 and children under 10 are admitted free.
